Anyone have any luck this season?

I hunted my best 4 spots and only got to work 1 tom and that was on Friday, the last day of the season and a coyote chased him off. It may just be the areas, Johnson county, I hunt but there just does not seem to be that many turkeys. Did anyone have any better luck than I did? And does your areas turkey numbers seem to be up or down? I did go to Kansas with 4 other guys and we killed 7 all together, I got a dandy that was almost 24 lbs, 11 inch beard and 1 3/8 spurs.

Yep, I got a dandy on 4/20

If we don't get some warm dry weather I'm afraid we won't have a good population of birds for a few years. I saw a few jakes, but there are so few toms now I can't see shooting one or there won't be any good toms next year.

Here's my bird. 11.5" beard, 1.125" spurs, weight 22LB 4 OZ

were in the same boat here in Louisiana. i just haven't seen very many or heard any while deer hunting. We do need some dry weather or its going to be very poor season i believe.
