Scott, finger placement and pressure can't be stressed enough when running friction calls. They are similar to playing a guitar, how and when you place your fingers dictate the sound.
People are always saying that you need to carry a sack full of strikers to achieve multiple hen "voices", I say the opposite. Take a couple of really good strikers and with a good call and the right stroke and finger placement you can sound like dozens of different turkeys.

Glad you liked them, will be trying to think of something else to share about calling with a youtube video.

I like to carry 4 strikers, 2 good woods, a carbon, and an acrylic.

What we need are vids on how to condition calls correctly. I've heard a lot of new hunters asking how too, and a few old time callers that don't know all the right ways and whys to condition a call. If your calls aren't conditioned right it doesn't make a differance how good of a caller you are, it won't sound right

Thanks, you just gave me a good idea! All The surface prep is important and there are so many types of surfaces and tools to condition them with, good and bad.

There will be a conditioning vid coming out soon!!!!!!!!!!!!
